Oeko-Tex® is a globally recognised third-party institution independent from the manufacturers of the fabric which certifies that textiles are free from harmful substances.
We are also certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certification. So, you can shop our duvet insert knowing that they are sustainably and ethically made!

The perfect down-to-feather ratio
Down is much lighter and insulating than feather, but a 100% down duvet inserts are far too warm for our tropical Malaysian weather.
That’s why we carefully designed chose just the perfect blend of down and feathers; a high percentage of down to provide you with the luxurious fluffy feeling, and a small percentage of feathers to make sure it isn’t too hot and you don’t end off kicking the duvet away in the middle of the night!

Optimal down fill power
Just like the down-to-feather ratio, we used down with the optimal fill power as well. The higher the fill power, the fluffier but warmer the duvet insert will be. We picked a high fill power of 600+ (but not too high) for our carefully designed Kapas Living duvet down insert.
What does it mean? You get a duvet insert that is suitable for our warm climate and can be enjoyed with light aircond without sacrificing comfort and fluffiness!

Luxurious cotton sateen casing
Our 300TC cotton sateen casing is specially treated to be down proof. You may notice a slight rustling feel to it, but it is still soft and comfortable and most importantly, it ensures that no feathers escape from the fabric and you get to enjoy your duvet for years to come!
Over time, the rustling will reduce gradually and your down will get softer and softer :)

Duvet construction
Our duvets are made with a box design which keeps the down evenly distributed, ensuring that you will feel evenly warm and cosy!
The double stitching and gold piping gives the duvet an additional touch of luxury while further securing the down within the duvet.
